Our Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir provides a beautiful look into just how well this grape thrives in the region’s soils. Lifted notes of bing cherries, rose hips, dried orange rind, and sandalwood dominate the wine’s earth-driven palate. Pair with game, veggie burgers, or roasted chicken. VINTAGE NOTES 2021 was one of the coolest growing seasons in recent memory. In fact, it never really felt like summer happened. More like a prolonged spring that flowed right into fall. A late bud break combined with a cold spring and summer led to minimal fruit set and smaller berries. This yielded wines with nicely concentrated flavors, good tannin structure and great acid – all the makings of an exceptional vintage.

90-91 POINTS – Antonio Galloni The 2021 Pinot Noir is another terrific appellation-level wine in this range from Presqu’ile. Bright acids, sweet floral top notes and bright red cherry fruit all run though this vibrant appelation-level Pinot. The 2021 is impeccably done. Even better, it should be a fabulous value.
